The Vagabond Hotel Miami is delighted to welcome soccer fans (oops, football to our European guests) to Miami for the Copa America 2024. This prestigious tournament will feature two thrilling matches on June 23 and June 29, culminating in the highly anticipated Copa America Final on July 14 at Hard Rock Stadium.

What Is Copa America?

The Copa America, established in 1916, is the oldest national team tournament in the world. It is a premier event featuring top teams from South America and select teams from North America and the Caribbean, competing for the championship title.


Who’s Playing?

The 2024 tournament will feature 16 teams drawn into four groups, with the top two from each group advancing to the quarterfinals.

CONMEBOL Teams: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, Venezuela. CONCACAF Teams: Jamaica, Mexico, Panama, United States, and two teams to be decided through playoffs (Canada/Trinidad and Tobago and Costa Rica/Honduras). With a rich history of fierce competition, Argentina and Uruguay lead with 15 wins each, and Brazil with 9. Argentina won the last tournament in 2021, defeating Brazil 1-0.

Group B: Mexico, Ecuador, Venezuela, Jamaica

Group C: United States, Uruguay, Panama, Bolivia
